Funding
Margaret Beckett announced the Parklands funding in November 2008.
Essex is receiving £11.5 million of the Parklands Funding and has another £12.9 million of funding from elsewhere.
Below is the Parklands Funding going to each project:-
- Canvey Wick - £2,564,569
- Central South Essex Marshes - £5,263,384
- Thurrock Thameside Nature Park - £675,921
- Wat Tyler Country Park - £1,634,646
- Wildspace Thurrock - £1,367.657
